Assemble is the new keyword in Hearthstone's Reign of the Black Empire, out October 20. You get a random minion and swap half of its card text for half of another's. Try it here first, then share the card you made. See the real Assemble cards

What's real here? Blizzard's rules, our calls, and what nobody has answered yet
Confirmed by Blizzard
You get a primary minion and two options, each cut into a top and bottom half. Take the top or bottom from either one.
Name, art, Cost, stats and minion type stay the primary's. Only the text changes.
Options cost the same as the primary, up to 2 more. 9 and 10-Cost minions can also use 8s.
Neutral plus your hero's class, even when the Assemble card came from another class.
Assemble minions and Old Gods never show up.
"Non-decisions" are pruned: nothing that needs the minion alive goes under a Deathrattle, and Chisel, Fleshshape and Sandcrafter options never carry the trait your minion was promised.
Blizzard's real pool is a curated list of a little over 250 cards.
Rajh has its own small, curated pool (around 15 minions), from any class and any Cost. Only combos that work as a passive hero power show up.
Our calls
This pool is 643 Standard and revealed Black Empire minions, much wider than Blizzard's 250. Some cards you make here won't exist in game.
Where most cards are cut. Our rule (trigger on top, final effect on the bottom) matches every split seen on stage and every leaked "&" marker, but most cuts are ours.
A bottom that points back at its top only goes under a top that gives it something to point at. Coilbearer's "It costs (2) less." needs a top that gets you a card; Gallagio Goon's "give it +1/+1." needs a top that names a minion. Cards whose bottom can't work under any other top (Illusory Greenwing's "They're summoned when drawn.") are cut. Every card with a leaked "&" split marker stays in.
Every option you're shown has two halves you can take, and the two options never offer the same half in the same slot. Blizzard's demo screen had all four halves lit.
Steward of the Vale and Tinker only guarantee the type on your minion. The options aren't guaranteed to be Beasts or Mechs, but they can be.
Our Rajh pool is about 70 minions, bigger than the game's, and every combo in it works as a passive hero power: a repeating trigger on top, nothing that needs a minion body, no Taunt, Rush, Charge, Reborn or Stealth on the hero.
Which halves Rajh accepts as a hero power, and the tags, odds and power rating on your result. The power rating is ours, built from mana cheat, value (cards and minions it makes), burst damage, keywords and loops. Just for fun.
Still open
Can you keep the minion as printed? Blizzard's screen has no button for it, so here you can't.
Exactly which 250 cards are in the pool.
Card badges: In the pool means a Blizzard developer named it. Leaked split means the datamined card text carries an "&" exactly where Assemble cuts it. Split seen on stage means the cut appeared in BlizzCon footage; those demos ran on developer overrides, so it proves the cut, not that the card made the pool.
